Krystin Jaenicke

Socials

Proof that one unexpected track day can turn curiosity into a full-throttle passion—and change everything.

Krystin Jaenicke didn’t grow up around racetracks, race cars, or racing legends. Her journey into motorsports started much more unexpectedly—when a sales associate handed her a pamphlet for a Porsche Club of America HPDE weekend. One weekend on track was all it took. She was hooked.

What began as a casual curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. Track weekends became a regular part of life, driver development turned into a priority, and before long, Krystin found herself buying her first race car and jumping into the world of Spec Miata. Learning the sport from the ground up, she found guidance, encouragement, and mentorship from the drivers and crews in the Spec Miata paddock, a community that welcomed her in and helped shape her growth as a racer.

Since then, Krystin has raced in a variety of environments, gaining experience in both sprint racing and endurance formats where patience, focus, and adaptability matter just as much as speed. Whether managing traffic during long stints or battling it out in shorter races, she thrives on the mental and physical demands that make motorsports unlike anything else.

Off the track, Krystin brings the same drive and determination to her professional career, shaped by fast-paced, high-responsibility roles that demand strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving. Those skills carry directly into racing, where preparation, teamwork, and clear thinking are key.

When Krystin’s career took her overseas to Guyana, it wasn’t long before she immersed herself in the local motorsports community. It was there that her passion for racing became about more than just competition. Alongside local and international women racers, she supported the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club’s mission to further women’s participation in motorsports by competing in the inaugural female championship series. Beyond the track, she became deeply involved in promoting driver safety, mentoring emerging racers, and helping strengthen a growing motorsports ecosystem. This experience ultimately led her to found Guyana Gear Drive, an initiative focused on providing proper safety equipment to drivers who might otherwise go without. After returning home to Texas, Krystin is excited to continue her racing journey, giving it her all to see just how far this adventure can take her.

As a driver for Black Asphalt Racing, Krystin brings grit, humility, and heart to everything she does. She sees motorsports as both a serious pursuit and a chance to inspire others to take a leap, try something new, and chase passions they never expected to find.
